Krush, the former HBC 586 has been an absolute barnstormer of a favourite hop here at Polly’s since it first landed a few short years ago. Having more or less free access to this Stateside slammer has gotten our brewers extremely giddy with excitement, and what better to show our love for a hop that has done so much in its short time being commercially available than a single hop showcase wrapped up in a super sessionable pale ale? Knocking it out of the park and then some, Low Energy packs a massive punch of tropical fruit salad sweetness beset by a smooth undercurrent of accessible bitterness for balance. Expect a big old swag bag of juicy mango, guava and passionfruit positively dripping from this pale ale backed up by a whisper of pithy citrus bitterness.
