We’ve always felt like Azacca gets a bit of an unfair rep – lost amongst a sea of hops that shout much louder and muscle their way to the forefront of people’s attention, this hop named for the Haitian god of agriculture has always found a beloved home here at Polly’s HQ. With that in mind, we’ve treated this incredible variety to a hefty showcase on Tiny Turbo – going super gentle on the hot side, we’ve kept the good stuff for the expressive nature of our cold side hopping, and boy does this pale ale punch above its weight. With a heavy lashing of Azacca in both its T90 and CGX form, this beer bursts with bright notes of orange and mango, with more subtle notes of quince, gooseberry and kiwi, before an accentuating dose of everyone’s favourite hype hop Strata brings the bold passionfruit, strawberry and dank, resinous cannabis notes.
