Polly’s Essentials Box 12-Pack

We have a policy here at the brewery of collaborative effort when it comes to all things Polly’s. Every Monday morning we sit down as a team and pool together any ideas we’ve had throughout the week to bring to the table and turn into a reality – whether it’s a weird and wonderful beer recipe, a campaign to run alongside a significant upcoming date in the calendar, all the way down to a simple TikTok video.

On a gloomy Monday morning not too long ago our social media manager Adam had a spark of inspiration, and asked the group “What is it our customers want? No, what do they need?”. Taking influence from the crazy panic buying of early covid all the way to the limits on food items of today, we realised an essentials pack was the thing missing from our storefront.

Featuring our core, icons, and a rotating selection of our specials you can’t miss, this pack is everything we love about our beers on a monthly basis. *The contents of this box are subject to change in line with stock availability.

Our Core pale ale is delicious, hazy juicebomb of a beer, balanced with enough bitterness to keep drinkers coming back for more. Rosebud - IPA 5.6%

INDIA PALE ALE | 5.6% | CITRA, GALAXY, MOSAIC, SIMCOE - Our flagship core beer - the style we're most well known for, and what we do best. Rosebud is an IPA in the New England style - the most popular variant of the style in the world. We've hopped this beer with Citra, Galaxy, Mosaic and Simcoe to create a certified tropical punchbowl of flavour. Strong enough to retain all that incredible mouthfeel, but sessionable enough to smash pints of.

Pine - Pale Ale (Gluten Free) 5.0%

PALE ALE (GLUTEN FREE) | 5.0% | CHINOOK, IDAHO 7, MOSAIC - We never like to have to exclude anyone from enjoying the experience of a Polly’s beer. We had it in mind that bringing a gluten-free beer to our output was the sensible thing to do for what felt like an eternity, and thanks to advancements in our brewing technology we’re delighted to bring Pine to the Polly’s party. Wrapped up in the style that we know and trust best, this pale ale encapsulates everything we’ve grown our reputation to over the last six years, but safe for those with an intolerance to the products in our regular output. Not cutting any corners here, we’ve brought Mosaic Spectrum, Idaho 7 and Chinook to the dance on this beer to create a pale ale positively bursting with tropical, pineapple and clean pine notes.

Pilsner - Lager Beer 4.7%

LAGER BEER | 4.7% | SAAZ, HALLERTAU MITTELFRÜH - When we were looking to expand our core range, we analysed what it was that other breweries had in their arsenal and it became obvious to really do a core range well, we’d need a lager as part of our output. Stripping things entirely back to basics with our effort, Pilsner is a straight up, no frills lager; brewed in honour of those incredible German and Czech styles that we treat as a reward for ourselves after a long week at the brewkit. A very simple grist bill imparts biscuit sweetness to play off a noble hop addition of Mittelfruh and Saaz to honour those aforementioned Czech and German masters for a pilsner that is crisp, clean, and delightfully moreish.

River Season - India Pale Ale 6.5%

INDIA PALE ALE | 6.5% | NECTARON - We’ve said it plenty of times before, but Nectaron landing at Polly’s HQ was an event in itself when we first got our hands on it in 2024. After what felt like an eternity of emailing and harassing our hop merchant when we finally got a bag into our hands and took a whiff upon opening it up, we knew we had a future lifeblood hop on our hands. As one of the most exciting hops to emerge from New Zealand’s world renowned hop breeding program, and taking over 17 years to perfect, the long development has paid off with possibly one of the most sought after and in demand hops on the planet today. River Season is a single hop tribute to the wonders those magicians working in the South Pacific are capable of - a big, bold IPA with a robust 19g/l dry-hop charge, creating a beer that does its heritage proud. Juicy grapefruit, ultra-ripe tropical fruits and bright, punchy pineapple notes are singing on this beer that showcases what we love about consistently discovering new hops to work with.

Quiet Hour - Pale Ale 4.0%

PALE ALE | 4.0% | NZ-106, NELSON SAUVIN BLISS - Our goal to regain our hype credentials doesn’t just stop at the big and decadent beers. We’re actively pushing this vibe throughout the entire brewery across the ABV spectrum to make even our sessionable beers a lot more desirable, flavour driven and sought-after rather than rinsing the same Citra and Mosaic combinations over and over. With Quiet Hour, we’ve gone all in on the freshest and most advanced technology our supplier Freestyle Hops can get us. Specialising in hops sourced from New Zealand, we’ve utilised NZH-106 - an experimental hop fresh from the hop breeding company native to the South Pacific. Backing this hop up is a brand new blend of Nelson Sauvin - the aptly named Bliss blend. Taking early-harvested Nelson and blending it with purposely stressed, ultra late-harvested crops, the result is a hop that is outrageously tropical, with complex sweet citrus, and a light dankness that only Nelson brings to the party.

Cherry - Sour 4.5%

SOUR | 4.5% | CHERRY, SEA SALT - A love story five years in the making finally reaches its apex; our first ever sour beer has grown up and become part of our core range. A labour of love for our sour beer wizard Lally, we’d always maintained previously that we’d never attempt a style unless we worked with a brewery that knew what they were doing, or we’d bring someone on board comfortable with it. To have elevated one of our sour beers to regular brew status shows just how much faith we have in our fruit-forward output, and Cherry does exactly what it says on the tin - sweet morello cherries dance alongside gentle sourness, with a slight savoury edge.

Festbier - Marzen 5.7%

MARZEN | 5.7% | MANDARINA BAVARIA - Grab the steins, Polly's has just boarded the Oktoberfest train! It feels almost sacrelige to be a brewery in the modern day and age, and not have ourselves involved in Oktoberfest festivities. Knowing that members of our team have been over to Germany separately over the years, we wanted to bring the party squarely back to Polly's HQ, and our festbier is the result. Although we could have gone for one of the more well known styles, we're purists at heart and decided to go for the historically significant style of a Marzen for our entry this year. Traditionally brewed in March, hence the name, this bold and robust lager is a delight for the senses; rich and full of malt-driven flavour with a crisp finish.

Everything Works Again - India Pale Ale 6.1%

INDIA PALE ALE | 6.1% | GALAXY, MOSAIC, SIMCOE - It feels like there's always an overwhelming sense of irony whenever we release this beer, and the most recent iteration seems to be keeping that theme going strong. When we set out with the recipe for Everything Works Again, we decided on a three way dance of modern beer's best varietals, so what better to go for than a triple threat of ultra hype hops Galaxy, Mosaic, and Simcoe? Calling back to that first IPA that put us firmly on the map back in 2018, this beer - named for an ism in the brewery when we finally sorted out the electrics in the brewhouse, and put an end to months of our brewkit shorting out mid-brew - takes the foundations laid by that OG Polly's beer and brings it roaring into 2025. Juicy, dank, hazy, and everything we love about modern British beer.

Floret Krush - Pale Ale 4.5%

PALE ALE | 4.5% | KRUSH! - It wouldn’t be Floret Day without a twist on the original recipe now would it? After amplifying the recipe up last year for a balls-to-the-wall DIPA version of our flagship pale, we’ve taken stock of what people are looking for in 2026 and have brought the ABV back down again, honouring Floret’s original ABV of 4.5% back when we first released it in 2022, but with a hearty lashing of one of our new favourite hops to work with here at Polly’s; the world-renowned Krush. Selected specifically for its tendency to impart a noticeable fruit cocktail kind of vibe to our beers, we’ve very intentionally gone with this hop alongside its classic Citra, Simcoe and Azacca bill to create a fruit crush of a pale ale, melding sweet fruits, berries, and a whole load of freshly squeezed oranges to create a banger twist on our flagship for 2026. Wanta Floret?

Rosa - Double IPA 8.4%

DOUBLE IPA | 8.4% | CITRA, EKUANOT, GALAXY, MOSAIC, SIMCOE - Back for good as part of our Icons range, if Galaxy Mosaic IPA was the beer that set off some rumbles for us, then Rosa was the beer that smashed through the glass ceiling and planted us firmly on the map. Gaining near-universal praise from drinkers and industry insiders when we first brewed it in 2019 for our UK-wide Augment launch, for all the incredible places our Augment range has branched off into since then, we love coming back to what we feel is the benchmark for our DIPAs, and our brewers certainly get giddy with excitement when they know our headline beer is back on the brew plans. Featuring a five-hop mega line up of Simcoe, Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra and Ekuanot, this beer is sticky, juicy, piney and dank - 100% Polly's.

Jumper Season - Irish Dry Stout 4.6%

IRISH DRY STOUT | 4.6% | - Whilst we’re very much a tropical and fruit forward pale and hoppy brewery by trade, we do occasionally brew to the seasons here at Polly’s HQ. With it being the peak of winter, we’re yearning for something simple, to be enjoyed in front of a roaring fire in a pub with mates. Step in the aptly named Jumper Season. Taking influence from the Irish pubs we’ve independently all experienced and collectively loved, the quota on this beer was to create a purposely full bodied Irish stout; letting the malt and the malt alone do the talking on this beer. Going off the beaten track with Maris Otter malt, we’ve backed this up with roasted barley and flaked barley to create a velvety smooth, decadent stout that isn’t extreme on the strength. Perfect for this time of year.
