With the festive period now in full swing, there’s nought we love more than huddling up close to a roaring fire on a bitterly cold evening and enjoying a robust dark beer to warm the cockles. What else could go with the festive time of year than a little bit of chocolate, perhaps segmented up into eight pieces, and with an orange twist? Don’t worry, we’ve already thought of it! Truffle & Peel is a porter that builds from a base of roasted malts to impart robust dark chocolate notes, before an addition of cacao nibs brings the chocolatey vibe fully to the fore, and a final addition of crystalised Valencia Orange gives a little flourish of fruit on the back end.
