It’s a flavour profile that rides through almost all of our beers here at Polly’s – from the most seasoned craft beer nerds to the first time craft sampler, pineapple has always been a great identifier in the fruit forward nature of the hops we utilise in our beers. Whilst we were writing our latest set of brew plans, we figured why not intentionally lean into that flavour profile and purposely use hops that present pineapple as a dominant flavour profile, and accentuate it with the wonderful Pineapple Abstrax from Skyfarm Hops, introduced to us by Beak during our birthday releases earlier in the year? The result is Pineapple Krush! – a bold but super crushable IPA hopped with Bru-1 and Krush, before that accentuating in brite with Abstrax. Expect fresh cut pineapple, pineapple cubes, pineapple? Pineapple.
