Liquid State – Pale Ale 5.1%

We bang on about it all the time here at Polly’s but there really is something special about our pale ales. Just north of the 5% mark, so robust enough to hold their own against some of our bigger beers, but still sessionable enough that we can enjoy a couple of pints after a long stint at the brewkit. Liquid State is a straight up banger that has one thing in mind – sunshine and kicking back with a couple of decking beers. Our standard hazy grist has now been updated to include chit malt – unfermentable but absolutely packs the body and mouthfeel of a beer to next level proportions, backed up with a three way tango of hop varieties that inspire all things tropical. A dash of Citra Lupomax for clean and bright citrus notes, Nelson Sauvin for those spiky crushed gooseberry and sweet grape notes that only the Kiwis can do, and a final flourish of US titan Vista for soft white peach, apricot, papaya and tangerine notes.
