Grab the steins, Polly’s has boarded the Oktoberfest train once again! It feels almost sacrilege to be a brewery in the modern day and age, and not have ourselves involved in Oktoberfest festivities. Knowing that members of our team have been over to Germany separately over the years, we wanted to bring the party squarely back to Polly’s HQ, and our festbier is the result. Acknowledging that we went off the beaten track last year with a Marzen, we’ve brought things back to a crowd pleaser again this year with a straight up, simple and easygoing Helles. Well rounded but still full bodied, this lager offers a pleasant touch of sweetness to offset the slightly spicy hop notes present throughout. Clean, and crisp as hell – perfect paired with any of the classic German delights; grab a pretzel, it’s party time!
