The Mountain IPA has been a mysterious siren that has dipped its way in and out of our brew plans since we first stumbled upon the style back in early 2020. A meld of New England haze and hop suspension, with the crisp drinkability of a West Coast beer, we’ve always been fascinated with this hybridized style and experimenting with recipes to create the best version of this style we possibly can. Blissful Apathy goes big for pale ale strength and utilises a cornerstone hop that has weaved its way through our existence in Citra across both the hot and cold side of the brewing process. Bright citrus notes and grapefruit dominate here, all with an underlying hum of zesty pithy bitterness to accentuate everything and keep things in check.
