We’re never ones to shy away from our heritage here at Polly’s. As a Welsh brewery with St Davids Day on the horizon, it would be remiss of us to not lean into our roots and brew something for the occasion. The very type of thing our pilot kit was brought in for, we’ve set our sights on the Welsh cultural icon bara brith, and put our brewing knowledge to the test to create an imperial Welsh ale, dosed with black tea, raisins and mixed baking spices to create liquid bread, and a wonderful deviation from our usual well-beaten path of pale and hoppy
