Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support Leadership:
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery.
  • Step in for the General Manager as needed to maintain operational continuity.
  • Provide excellent levels of customer service and employee leadership by leading by example. Maintain excellent levels of work serving customers behind the bar and on the restaurant floor and kitchen.
• Staff Training & Development:
  • Assist with the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff to enhance skills and service quality.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on company policies, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
• Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate staff to uphold Polly’s brand values, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist with the management of schedules, staff performance, and conflict resolution to ensure a cohesive team dynamic.
• Operational Efficiency:
  • Support inventory management, vendor relations, and supply chain logistics to ensure cost-effective operations and quality control.
  • Implement processes that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Experience:
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and ensure their needs are met, enhancing their overall experience at Polly’s Social.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset among staff, ensuring exceptional service standards.
• Health, Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, conducting regular checks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep up to date with all compliance legislation and ensure the team is informed and trained accordingly.
• Marketing Support:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities and events to increase brand visibility and foot traffic.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in designing and implementing training programs.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management and cost control strategies.
